- Working knowledge of fundamental terms and concepts of computer networking, including LANs, WANs, switching and routing.
- Ability to configure and operate Cisco Unified Communications Manager in a single-site environment.

- Integrate Cisco Unity Connection with PLM and with Cisco UC Manager using both SIP and SCCP
- Configure Cisco Unity Connection Users, Templates, and Class of Service and including video greetings
- Configure Cisco Unity Connection system settings, restriction tables and LDAP integration
- Implement Cisco Unity Connection Dial Plan and Call Management
- Configure Unified Messaging
- Troubleshoot Cisco Unity Connection
- Implement Cisco Unified IM and Presence and Cisco Jabber Desktop and Mobile using BYOD

Course Content
CAPPS Cisco Unified Communications (UC) and Instant Messaging (IM) and Presence Bridge is a three-day, hands-on course that provides an option if you have taken the CCNP Voice CAPPS course, or are otherwise familiar with the content of that course, to learn the new material added to CAPPS10 to cover the latest CSR 10.6 technology. The CAPPS Bridge course is a “delta” course designed to help you take the CAPPS10 exam to upgrade your “CCNP Voice’ knowledge base to “CCNP Collaboration”.
